I had originally gotten this adorable sock monkey for my daughter, but after receiving it I think I'm going to keep it for myself. He has a pom pom hat and bowtie that are both made out of yarn, his lips are red, and he has white socks. He has little black button eyes. He is stitched and made very well no rough edges or extra strings hanging anywhere. This sock monkey would not be recommended to a child under the age of 3 since they could possibly pull the eyes off and choke on them. When I received this some of the red yarn from his hat had fallen out, but nothing too major. I have always wanted one every since I seen them becoming popular in movies and now I can say I finally own my first sock monkey. At first he was a little hard to get to sit up on his own, but my husband finally got him positioned correctly.
