I wanted this for my cats because I have a bigger scoop for my dog. At least with this I don't have to keep swapping the same scoop between both bags. I can keep the big scoop in the dog food and this little one in the cats food. This scoop has a 1/2 cup and 1 cup capacity for you to measure out how much food you want to feed your pet. One scoop can hold about 100g of food. This scoop is made of plastic so you don't have to worry about it being heavy if you have your kids use it. When I feel this scoop up it fills up both my cats food bowls so this is just perfect unlike my bigger scoop I end up with too much food when filling their bowls and have to pour back into the bag.
